When you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, our airport representative will wait for you at the airport, we will display a Himalayan Frozen Adventure with your group name signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our car.

After that, you will go on a short guided city tour during which you visit places like Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, etc. These monuments are part of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After having lunch, you start the hike to delightful Everest base camp passing the glacier ascent and descent trail. After having breakfast, you start climbing early in the morning at 1 am. You have to reach the summit before the afternoon because afternoon there can be strong winds that can become a barrier for a successful summit. Through climbing, you'll see slope narrows, the trail enters a steep rock channel and we climb the rock gully. The Initially sandy, the path soon turns to grass before becoming boulder strewn. The climbing is not too hard, but there are very rock steps to climb before we emerge on the right side of the gully. We'll climb through the rock cliff, which will exciting nose and exposed on top of the glacier. The steep snow slope leads us onto the summit ridge. We have to use fixed rope after successfully climbing on rock. At the climb, the rope will usually be 350 m, which is the length depends on the time of the season and the crevasses. After enjoying the incredible view from Summit, we'll back to Base camp. Where we spend our night.

Leaving Chhukung behind, the trail descends through the Khumbu River and Sherpa villages to reach beautiful Pangboche, where you can explore the oldest monastery in the Khumbu region. Then you cross a suspension bridge over the Imja River and walk through the lush forests of pines, oaks, and rhododendrons to reach Tengboche. Travel insurance is mandatory to have to join an adventurous trip in the Himalayas. It is for your safety. The travel insurance must cover things like illness, medical emergencies, accidents, death, trip cancellation, and loss of personal baggage & items. All costs for Emergency Evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay all the cost on your behalf. Make sure that your travel insurance covers activities in the Himalayas if you are participating in them.

A passport with at least six months of validity from the return date is mandatorily needed. You can get the Nepalese visa from the Nepalese Embassies or Consulate in your country. Do know that there are few countries that have to apply for the Nepalese visa from their own country. Obtaining your visa is entirely your responsibility.

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

AMS or altitude sickness is one of the main risks while traversing in the high altitude. The main region behind getting AMS is when the body doesn't adjust to the lower level, and the result can be deadly. So it is very important to take proper measures on time. Gaining altitude with constant pace and proper acclimatization days will help reduce the chances of getting AMS.

Similarly, you also have to keep yourself hydrated during the trek, therefore, drink enough water and avoid alcoholic drinks as it dehydrates the body. If you are planning to trek in one of the adventurous trails of Nepal then do keep above things in your mind.

The climatic condition of Nepal differs from place to place depending upon geographical regions.
