You land at the Tribhuvan International Airport and meet with our team representative at the terminal gate. He will be waiting for you to pick you up and take you to the hotel. After checking in to the hotel, you get informed by the day program. Later, you meet with other team members over welcome dinner and end the day exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel.

The day begins early with a warm cup of coffee. You meet with your tour guide and go on a short tour to different UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You visit places like holy Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. During the tour, your guide will brief you about the importance of the sites. Later, in the late afternoon, you meet with the trek guide and spend the rest of the day preparing for the trek.

After having breakfast, you'll take a scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Lukla Airport, which is our trekking starting point. Our trail through Dudh Koshi and the prosperous village of Lukla begin. Today our trail is short and easy. Finally, after 3 hours of walking, you reach Phakding, which is a good facility for Accommodation, Meals, and Lodges.

After breakfast, the trail leads us to the suspension bridge then climbs up to the settlement of Zapote, Benkar, Toktok, Chumoa to Monju and we entered the Sagarmatha National park. Today is a rest day in Dingboche. You go on a short hike to Nagarjun Hill from where you will get to see outstanding views of many Himalayan Mountains. After spending some time, you will trek back to your guesthouse and spend time with locals and other fellow trekkers.

The trail leaves Dingboche and goes through the alpine landscape with stone-walled. You can feel excited to walk on awesome Imja valley as well as get incredible Lhotse and Ama Dablam views, then walk on yak fields of Bibre. From Bibre, you go to a side valley of the most famous trekking peak, Island peak 6189m, you see step rock and-icy south face of Island peak. The trail follows icy streams with the cross peaceful area before reach Chhukung. After having some food at Chhukung, you have a great opportunity to hike Chhukung Ri 5546m, it offers stunning views of Lhotse, Island Peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, and many other peaks. The day begins early as you move towards Kongma La Pass today. After having a warm breakfast, you slowly ascend towards the top of the pass from where you can see the beautiful landscape. The trail further, descends to Lobuche through Khumbu Glacier. It is going to be a tough descend.

If you do not want to cross the pass, then there is an alternate route that does not involve any tough walking and takes you to Lobuche.

Leaving Lobuche behind, the trail goes on a rocky path with enjoying the excited views of Mount Everest, Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse, etc. Your walk continues alongside massif Khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep, where you have breakfast and check overnight lodge because Gorakshep is the last lodge of this trek as well as here you can found fewer lodges. You leave Gorakshep and walk on rocky steeps to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, which is surrounded by magnification peaks of the Everest range and huge glaciers with icefalls. After exploring the delightful base camp, the trail descends to Gorakshep, where you stay overnight.

You wake up early in the morning and gradually ascend towards the top of Kala Patthar. The trail will be rocky and snowy with a steep ascend. You spend some time and descend to Pheriche following the same path to spend the night.

In the teahouse, we have to share the toilet. A single room is available in Kathmandu and the lower elevation trekking region but might be impossible for higher elevations.

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

AMS or altitude sickness is one of the main risks while traversing at high altitudes. The main region behind getting AMS is when the body doesn't adjust to the lower level, and the result can be deadly. So it is very important to take proper measures on time. Gaining altitude with constant pace and proper acclimatization days will help reduce the chances of getting AMS.

Similarly, you also have to keep yourself hydrated during the trek, therefore, drink enough water and avoid alcoholic drinks as it dehydrates the body. If you are planning to trek in one of the adventurous trails of Nepal then do keep the above things in your mind.

The climatic condition of Nepal differs from place to place depending upon geographical regions. There is only one place in Nepal, where you can go trekking in even monsoon (July to mid-September) and that is Upper Dolpo. This region lies in the rain shadow of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges and therefore does not receive rainfall in the monsoon.

Autumn (September To November)

Autumn (September-November) is one of the perfect seasons to trekking with hiking in Himalayan Nepal, so thousands of trekkers choose these months. In fact, September, October, and November months are will be full of excellent atmosphere as well as beauty, enjoys your journey with joy and beauty. The Autumn season provides reference weather with clear magnificent mountains. The temperature is good than another season. September-November is a great time to express your adventure in Himalayan Nepal. It will also be free from natural disasters such as floods and landslides these months. It's the most famous season to goes the high altitude area of the Himalayan. 

Winter (November To March)

Winter (November-March) is also possible to trek in Himalayan Nepal, the weather condition is stable and the days are clear. December, January and February are the cold months in Nepal. Days temperatures are cool but the nights are much cold. During the winter trek is risk winds and colder temperatures. Above 3,000m altitude being usually snowfall and freezing. If you are looking for wonderful scenery, let choose the lower elevation trek in Nepal.

Spring (March To May)

Spring (March-May) is the second famous trekking season in Himalayan Nepal. March, April, and May is also a great option to mountain climbing and high altitude trek. At spring morning weather condition will be clear, but the afternoon sky covered by the cloud, and sometimes can be rain. You can get to see beautiful flowers like jasmine, pine, and rhododendron with wild flora. During the Spring, the lower altitude trek is mildly warm and above 3,000m quite a moderate temperature. This season is also best to express your adventure in Nepal.

Summer (June To August)

In the summer season, the trekkers are less crowded in the Himalayan region will be less. June, July, and August are the main raining season in Nepal which involves monsoon. Bad weather can hamper travel, maybe some problems during the journey due to heavy rain. Some travelers prefer to travel at this time as this is also not an emergency period. The weather is hot and almost everyday rains. This season is better for the tour to Tibet and in Himalayan Nepal like Mustang, Dolpo region, and Nar-Phu valley because these regions are in the rain-shadow.
