Manaslu Region is one restricted area in Nepal, this route was not available for travel until 1991 to unfamiliar guests, without a special trekking permit and a guide nobody can enter the Manaslu region. Manaslu is the restricted trekking zone, therefore trekkers have to join a registered trekking agency and purchase a special permit to trek around the Manaslu valley. This region has one unique Himalayan part.

This Kal Taal is the biggest lake in the Manaslu region which lies 3,800 meters above sea level.
