Ghorepani Poon Hill Short Trekking (4 days) Hike Route
Our poon hill short hike begins from Nayapul after having a scenic drive from Pokhara city. Passing the Nayapul, the trail goes along the river and follows the lush forests of rhododendron, then cross terraced farmland before reach to Tikhedhunga via Hille. From Tikhedhunga, you climb stone steep to beautiful Magar village Ulleri with enjoying the surrounding landscapes and peaks. Next, Ghorepani poon hill short hike trip goes through the colorful forests of rhododendron, oak, maple, and pine, then ascent to Ghorepani village. Early morning you will be ready and hike to Poon hill for enjoying the exciting mountain ranges, amazing sunrise, green valley, and natural landscapes. At last, our trekking heads towards to biggest Gurung community village Ghandruk, it offers to discover the unique culture, traditions, Gurung culture Museum, and wonderful mountains. Then finally, the trail descends to Nayapul and drives back to Pokhara valley.

Poon Hill Short Hike Itinerary
Day 01:Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul then trek to Tikhedunga 1,570m - 5/6 hrs
After having a delicious breakfast at Pokhara Hotel, you take a short scenic drive through the Prithvi Chowk and cross beautiful Lumle village to Nayapul (1050m), which is the starting and ending points of this trek. From Nayapul, the trail follows along the Modi River and passes the lush forests with small streams. After crossing the beautiful villages of Birethanti and Hille, you reach Tikhedunga for an overnight stay.
Day 02:Trek from Tikhedunga to Ghorepani Village 2,840m - 5/6 hrs
Leaving Tikhedunga behind, you cross a bridge over the Modi River and then climb stone steep to Ulleri, which can be a little challenging as well as you can see spectacular views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna from Ulleri village. Then you walk to Magar village of Banthanti where you can enjoy to see wonderful peaks view of Machhapuchhre Mountain (6997m), Hiunchuli Mountain (6441m), and Annapurna South Mountain (7219m). Then the trek goes through the dense forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and oak to Nangethanti. After a short hike from Nangethanti, you reach the lovely village Ghorepani. Where you stay overnight at the trekking lodge.
Day 03:Hike to Poon Hill 3,210m and Trek from Ghorepani to Ghandruk 2,750m - 6 hrs
Today is the most exciting day of this trekking. Wake up early morning and be ready to hike. Around one hour of walking from Ghorepani, you reach Poon Hill, and don't miss the amazing sunrise. Top of the Poon hill is the most beautiful place in the Annapurna area. Then you will see the golden sunrise view of the Annapurna mountain and fantastic panorama peaks of Annapurna I, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri ranges, and many more others. After exploring Poon Hill, the trail descends to Ghorepani lodge for breakfast, then trekking heads towards to Ghandruk. The hike from Ghorepani to Ghandruk is of 6 hours. As well as you pass the beautiful green forests, small teahouses, and Tadapani village. In the evening, there you visit the local village, Gurung museum, several lodges, monasteries, and temples around the Ghandruk. Overnight you stay at a trekking lodge.
Day 04:Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul then Drive back to Pokhara 850m - 5/6 hrs
Passing the Ghandruk village, the trail descends through the beautiful rhododendron forest, streams, and several suspension bridges then you will reach Birethanti. From Birethanti will hike downhills and follow the Modi River to Nayapul, then drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, your guide transfers to Hotel. In the evening, you can visit the lakeside and beautiful market of tourism. For night dinner if you like to join your guide and porter then enjoy together dinner at Pokhara restaurant.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek Accommodation
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek accommodations are Lodge and Teahouse. Around Kathmandu and Pokhara, we can find a good facility with comfortable accommodation at the Hotel. In the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, all accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. During the trek, Himalayan frozen Adventure will manage rooms with attached washrooms. In the teahouse, we have to share the toilet. A single room is available in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and the lower elevation trekking region but might be impossible in higher elevations.

Kathmandu and Pokhara have included only breakfast. During the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, all meals will be provided.
