Annapurna Base Camp Trek 5 Days Itinerary

Day 01:Drive from Pokhara to Siwai and trek to Chommrong 2,140m - 5/6 hrs

Today you take a scenic about 3 hours drive to Siwai which is a Phedi of Ghandruk and Landruk, then the trek goes through beautiful forest, terraced farmland, scattered houses, and crosses a long suspension bridge over Modi Khola to reach the colorful village Jhinu Danda. Likewise, you ascend stone steep to arrive at beautiful Gurung village Chommrong, which offers to observe the amazing landscape and mountain views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli. Overnight you stay at a trekking lodge.

Day 02:Trek from Chommrong to Himalaya Hotel 2,900m - 6/7 hrs

After having breakfast at Chommrong lodge, you descend to Chhomrong Khola and cross a suspension bridge, then ascend towards a small village Sinuwa, where you take a short tea break with enjoying a close-up view of Mount Machhapuchre (Fishtail). Similarly, you walk through dense forests of bamboo, rhododendron and Oak, then pass Doban Village and move along a Modi Khola Valley to reach the Himalayan Hotel, where you stay overnight.

Day 03:Trek from Himalaya Hotel to Annapurna base camp 4,130m - 6/7 hrs

Today is the most exciting day and trekking towards Annapurna base camp. Leaving the Himalayan hotel, you cross a Modi Khola stream and climb uphill to Deurali, then you walk the narrow valley of gigantic mountains Machhapuchhre and Hiuchuli to Machhapuchre base camp. After leaving MBC behind, you take a short ascent to a lap of Mount Annapurna, Annapurna base camp. The Base camp includes the surrounding mountain peaks of Annapurna III, Machhapuchre, Gangapurna, Gandharva Chuli, Annapurna south, etc. There you can explore the huge Annapurna glacier and evening sunset over the mountain. Day 04:Trek back from Annapurna base camp to Sinuwa 2,360m - 6/7 hrs

We wake up early in the morning to see mesmerizing sunrise view over the Annapurna massif. After exploring morning views at Annapurna base camp, you take breakfast, then leave the Annapurna base camp and descend the same trail to Bamboo and Sinuwa by passing a beautiful mountain valleys, small villages, and dense forest. You stay overnight at Sinuwa trekking lodge.

Day 05:Trek from Sinuwa to Siwai and drive to Pokhara 840m - 5/6 hrs

After having a warm breakfast, you descend through dense forest to Chimrong Khola and cross a suspension bridge then climb steep stone Chhomrong village, where you take a short tea break. Leaving Chhomrong behind, you drop down Jhinu Danda and cross a long suspension bridge over Modi Khola. Likewise, you walk through the small villages and forests to reach Siwai, from where you take a scenic drive to Pokhara. In the evening, you are free to explore the bustling Lakeside Market and do boating on tranquil Fewa Lake.

Yes, electricity is available in the lower region of Annapurna trek, where you can get to charge your camera and mobile batteries, etc. But high elevation there has a solar system power so it's not enough for the charge. How to manage drinking water through trekking?

The Annapurna region can get normal free tap water, for this water you have to use purification medicine. Bottled water or boiled water is also available to buy at lodges and teahouses. Per day you have to drink about 4-6 liters of water for your health.

Yes, when you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, our airport representative will wait for you at the airport, we will display a Himalayan Frozen Adventure with your group name signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our car.

What do I have to carry on the trekking?

Annapurna Base Camp Trek Accommodation

Annapurna base camp accommodations are Lodge and Teahouse. Around Kathmandu and Pokhara, we can find a good facility with comfortable accommodation at the Hotel. At the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, all accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. During the trek, Himalayan frozen Adventure will manage rooms with attached washrooms. In the teahouse, we have to share the toilet. A single room is available in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and the lower elevation trekking region but might be impossible in higher elevations.

Kathmandu and Pokhara have included only breakfast. During the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, all meals will be provided. In the Annapurna region, we can enjoy Nepalese food with international cuisine like Tibetan, Continental, Indian, Tibetan, Italian, etc. Throughout the trek, we have breakfast/lunch at the teahouse and Dinner will be at the lodge.
