Itinerary
Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to the hotel (1,350m)
As you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will get greeted by the representative of Himalayan Frozen Adventure. He/she will take you to the hotel that we have already booked for you in the advance. You get informed about the evening plan with some spare time to relax.
To welcome you, the company has organized a traditional welcome dinner along with cultural dance. You will meet with other team members over dinner and end the day with lots of laughter.
Day 02:Kathmandu to mountain fly Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,610m) - 4 hours
After having breakfast, you'll transfer from hotel to airport then take a short scenic 35 minutes mountain flight to Lukla, which is the gateway of Everest trek. Upon arrive at Lukla you meet our friendly crew members. Leaving Lukla behind, the trail goes through the small Sherpa villages and lush forests, then before reaching Phakding, you walk on the bank of beautiful Dudh Koshi River with enjoying green landscapes of this valley. Overnight you stay at Phakding trekking lodge.
Day 03:Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3,440m) - 5/6 hours
After having breakfast at Phakding, trekking goes to Namche Bazaar. Leaving Phakding behind, you walk along the bank of Dudhkoshi river and beautiful Sherpa villages. On the way, you will feel enjoy seeing natural landscapes, rhododendron forests, Himalayan pine, giant fir, and mountain view (Thamserku and Kusum kangaroo). Crossing high suspension bridges, the trail ascends to dense forest and viewpoint of Mount Everest, then you reach the famous mountain town Namche Bazaar. This town is surrounded by mountains and the Khumbu glacier, here you can enjoy with traditional culture, market, and Sherpa lifestyle.
Day 04:Hike to Everest View Lodge (3,700m) and back to Namche (3,440m) - 5 hours
It is your rest day at Namche. You traverse around the village and hike to the viewpoint like Everest View Hotel or Syangboche Airstrip for spectacular views of mountains. You also visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery, where you get to have deep insight into Sherpa's culture & tradition.
Day 05:Helicopter flight to Kalapatthar (5,545m) via EBC (5,316m) and Fly Back to Lukla (2,800m)
Today is an exciting day of this trekking. After having breakfast, you walk to Heli spot and flight to Kala Patthar via base camp of the mountain, Mount Everest. From the helicopter flight, you will see amazing Khumbu valley, Tengboche Monastery, alpine glaciers, Khumbu icefalls, Pheriche, Gorakshep, peaceful landscapes, and colourful forests of pine-oak-alpine. After exploring the beautiful land of Everest base camp then helicopter land at the Kala Patthar. From Kala Patthar viewpoint, you will get to breath-taking sunrise with 360-degree nearest mountains peaks of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Thamserku (6,623 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), Mt. Makalu (8,481 m), Mt. Kongde (6,187 m), Mt. Pumori (7,161 m), and many others. After exploring the 20 to 30 at Everest base camp and Kalapatthar, your flight back to Lukla by Helicopter ride. As well as you will see fantastic surrounding Everest range views from the flight. Upon arrival at Lukla, visit around the beautiful Lukla village and see the wonderful landscapes. Overnight you stay at Lukla Lodge.
Day 06:Flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu city (1,350m) - 35 minutes
Today, you fly back to Kathmandu after having breakfast. During the flight, you get to see views of the Himalayan Mountains. Upon reaching Kathmandu airport, head to your hotel and freshen up. You are free to explore the market and buy souvenirs to take back with you. Later in the evening, you visit a restaurant to have a farewell dinner organized by the company.

Everest Base Camp Trek accommodations are Lodge and Teahouse. Around Kathmandu, we can find a good facility with comfortable accommodation at the Hotel. The Everest Base Camp Trek all accommodations are on the twin-shared basis. During the trek, Himalayan frozen Adventure will manage room with attached washrooms. In the teahouse, we have to share the toilet. Single room is available in Kathmandu and the lower elevation trekking region but might be impossible to higher elevations.
