Everest Base Camp Trekking Porter
The Trekking porter is an adventurous person who will carry 20 to 35 kg of stuff during trekking. Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 01:Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel (1,300m)
You get picked up from the international airport by one of our team members. He/she will assist you to the hotel and inform you about the day program. As per your flight landing schedule, you may have or not have free time to relax and explore the nearby streets. Regardless, the day is going to end with lots of laughter and happy moments when you meet with other team members over welcome dinner.
Day 02:Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m)
It is an extra day in Kathmandu for trek preparation and a short guided city tour. The day begins early, and you go on guided UNESCO World Heritage Sites seeing tour. As you will be accompanied by a professional tour guide, he/she will brief you about the monuments and their importance. Later, in the day, you meet with the trek guide and prepare for the trip. The preparation includes checking all the gears and documents as well as briefing the trail.
Day 03:Kathmandu to Flight Lukla 40 mins and trek to Phakding (2,640m) - 4 hrs
After having breakfast, you'll take a scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Lukla Airport, which is our trekking starting point. Our trail through Dudh Koshi and the prosperous village of Lukla begin. Today our trail is short and easy. Finally, after 3 hours of walking, you reach Phakding, which is a good facility for Accommodation, Meals, and Lodges.
Day 04:Phakding to trek Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - 6 hrs
After having breakfast at Phakding, trekking goes to Namche Bazaar. Leaving Phakding behind, you walk along the bank of the Dudhkoshi river and beautiful Sherpa villages. On the way, you will feel enjoy seeing natural landscapes, rhododendron forests, Himalayan pine, giant fir, and mountain view (Thamserku and Kusum kangaroo). Crossing high suspension bridges, the trail ascends to dense forest and viewpoint of Mount Everest, then you reach the famous mountain town Namche Bazaar. This town is surrounded by mountains and the Khumbu glacier, here you can enjoy traditional culture, market, and Sherpa lifestyle.
Day 05:Acclimation day in Namche Bazzar (3,440m)
Today is the first acclimatization day of the 12 Days Everest base camp trek. Your guide will make the plan to lead the old Sherpa village of Khumjung, Khunde, and Khongde village, where you can see amazing Mount Everest view with surrounding snow-capped peaks and traditional life of local sherpa. Or you have another option to visit the National Park Museum with the monastery. You don't hike anywhere then you can enjoy your acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar restaurants, shops, bakeries, and cafes.
Day 06:Namche Bazzar to trek Tengboche (3,800m) – 5 hrs
Leaving Namche Bazaar behind, you walk through the dense forests of pine, rhododendron, and alpine, where you can see the amazing flora and fauna. Passing the small settlement you descend to Phunki Thanga (3250m), then the trail climb to Dudh Kosi valley and Tengboche. Where you can explore popular Monastery and mesmerizing mountain views of Kwongde (6187m), Tawache (6542m), Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7855m), Lhotse (8618m), Amadablam (6856m), and Thamserku (6608m). Overnight stay at Tengboche lodge.
Day 07:Tengboche to trek Dingboche (4,200m) – 5 hrs
After a quick warm breakfast, you trek over Imja Khola. The trail crosses a suspension bridge and passes by small settlement areas like Pangbcohe and Orsho. During the trek, you will come across mani stones fastened with colorful prayer flags. Dingboche welcomes you with a dramatic view of Mt. Everest and many other Himalayan mountains.
Day 08:Acclimation day in Dingboche (4,200m)
Today is an acclimatization day to make altitude fitness. We take a short hike to behind the village, where get amazing views of Mount Ama Dablam, Mount Lhotse, and peaks. This whole day we explore the Dingboche.
Day 09:Dingboche to trek Lobuche (4,920m) – 05 hrs
After breakfast, the route takes us to Lobuche, which is being filled with beautiful mountain views, where we'll found an amazing Himalayan experience. Today, our trek will explore Khumbu Glacier and small lodges. The trip is challenging to goes higher elevation. Lobuche is a large settlement, where we get impressive shops and hotels.
Day 10:Lobuche to trek Gorakhshep (5,170m) then trek to Everest base camp (5,356m) back to Gorakshep - 8 hrs
After having breakfast, the trail goes through to Khumbu Khola valley and short climb to Dughla. After reaching the Dusa valley we take down the trail to Phulong Karpo. During the trekking, we can enjoy the Chola Lake and Mount Pumori views. The trail will take us to the wooden bridge and Dughla, then start to climb up Khumbu Glacier, where we get views of Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal. After leaving Khumbu Glacier valley we arrive at Lobuche. Then you climb to the Gorak Shep, where we check our lodge for the night. The trail continues to climb Everest Base Camp. When we pass the pyramid sign, then we can found views of Mount Pumori, Mount Mahalangur, Mount Lingtern, Mount Khumbutse, and Mount Nuptse. After short climbing, we can get snowy mountain vista of 360 degrees. Through rock climbing and glacial trails, we reach the Everest Base Camp, which is our main destination. We can enjoy and explore the base camp, and then we back to Gorekshep.
Day 11:Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) and back to Pheriche (4,240m) - 6 hrs
Today early in the morning you hike to Kala Pattar (5,545m), which is the best viewpoint and the highest point of this trek. After two hours of walking on the rock trail, you reach Kala Pattar, its adventure challenge path. Upon reaching Kala Pattar there you can enjoy seeing to nearest magnification views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, and many peaks. After a few minutes, over the Everest range, the golden sun will rise. Which make one of the mesmerizing moment in your lifetime experience. Then you descend the same route to Gorekshep and Pheriche, where you spend the night in Pheriche lodge.
Day 12:Pheriche to trek Tengboche (3,800m) - 4 hrs
After having breakfast, you walk on the peaceful natural route and pass through the traditional villages of Kangtega and Thamserku, then join with amazing Imja Khola valley before reach Tengboche. Here you can explore the unique culture of the Sherpa community and enjoy with excited surrounded views. Overnight you stay at a Phortse local trekking lodge.
Day 13:Tengboche to trek Monjo (2,860m) – 6 hrs
Leaving Phortse behind, the trail leads through small Sherpa villages and colorful dense forests, then descend Namche bazaar where you stop for lunch. After lunch, you walk drop down the river and cross many wood bridges, then short climb and drop down through a lush forest to reach Monjo. Where you stay overnight at Monjo trekking lodge.
Day 14:Monjo to trek Lukla (2,840m) - 6 hrs
You trek back to Lukla today. Descending steeply through Sagarmatha National Park, you will cross a suspension bridge. The trail will be full of colorful prayer flags, Chortens, mani walls, and small gompas. Going through attractive forests of rhododendron & pine and small villages along with captivating views of snow-capped mountains and astonishing sceneries, you reach Lukla.
Day 15:Lukla to flight Kathmandu (1,300m) - 40 mins
You fly back to Kathmandu after having breakfast. During the flight, you get to see views of the Himalayan mountains. Upon reaching Kathmandu airport, head to your hotel and freshen up. You are free to explore the market and buy souvenirs to take back with you. Later in the evening, you visit a restaurant to have a farewell dinner organized by the company.
Day 16:Final departure
You will fly back to your home. One of our team representatives will take you to the airport as per your flight departure time.

Himalayan Frozen Adventure will fully support your whole trip. Sometimes come these kinds of the problem; Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, and unexpected natural disasters. These conditions we make extra or rest day, which is not available in this itinerary but if you have time then it is possible to make more extra day at trekking. You have to pay a package for extra days.

Everest base camp trek starts from Kathmandu Valley and takes scenic 35-minute flight to Lukla airport. From Lukla to Everest base camp and return to Lukla is 130 KM distance which takes 10 - 16 days.

Yes, is necessary to take sleeping bags on the trek because the lodges don't have enough blanket.
How can I respect the culture?

How many hours I have to walk each day?
For this Everest base camp trek per day maximum of 7 hours and a minimum of 5 hours, you have to walk.
How is the Everest base camp trek weather?

Of course, Travel Insurance is necessary for this trip, this trek is a high challenge adventure risk. The travel insurance will cover emergency evacuation as Helicopter rescue and the hospital charge. If you fell an accident and Acute mountain sickness then, at this condition, your travel insurance will immediately provide the helicopter.
Electricity does available on Everest base camp trek?
Yes, electricity is available in the lower region of Everest trek, where you can get to charge your camera and mobile batteries, etc. But high elevation there has a solar system power so it's not enough for the charge. So we suggest you take some extra batteries for this Everest base camp trek.
How to manage drink water through trekking?
The Everest region can get normal free tap water, for this water you have to use purification medicine. bottled water or boiled water also available to buy at lodges and teahouse. Per day you have to drink about 4-6 liters water for your health.
Is possible to pick up me from the airport?
Yes, when you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, our airport representative will wait for you at the airport, we will display a Himalayan Frozen Adventure with your group name signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our car.

What do I have to carry on the trekking?
